As addictive and almost as good as the Walking Dead....wandering dead?
Def. pimping the Jacks! No lie/exaggeration, I've got at least a 100 nights under
a Hudson River..it is a great underquilt. Kinda coveting the Greylock but I've got the 3 model and when it gets really cold I have to turn to the Leighlo 5-50.
That section along the shore was spectacular but I bet the tread got old.
    I'm ready for round 3 Shug-o-the-gitchee-goomie

Thanks for the tip. Great idea!

I am getting fitted for sports glasses/goggles with a head band; like what you see four-eyed basketball players wear during a game. Will serve me well on the trail. The glasses come with strong impact resistance lens... that even Shug's sharp wit can not break.

    Right On, MedicineMan. Well Said.

Gotta admire this pair of crazies.

ALWAYS looking forward to Shugery, and WF's contributions are the frosting on the cake.

Yes indeed, sharing trail adventures with Shug is always a really good time and definitely greatly appreciated. I have known Shug's alter ego for many years and am very happy to call him my good friend. Hickery goes back even further with Shug...seventh grade!

Having a hiking buddy is a good thing esp when you get along. Waiting for part 3. You keep adding trails to my list of places I want to go. Keep it up!!

Who cares about showers, gourmet food, using flush toilets. Just keep on walking and being away from it all.

The Greylock 4 did me right. Same on the HR.

Had to switch up for some vim and zing. Frankenquilt and GreenBean were missed. As was the Hillbilly pot. And the Packa.

Waited and watched this segment with my morning cup'o'joe. Good stuff! Yeah, you all are having a great time. On a trip back in high school I leaned over Hazel Creek in the Smokies to get a drink--last time I saw that pair of glasses--guess they might be at the bottom of Fontana Lake by now. Luckily it was day time and we were on our way out. Good idea with the strobe. Looking forward to more!
