Hey Guys, my wife and I would like to join you on this hang. We are newbies but eager to learn. We have adequate equipment to endure winter hanging and would love to meet some fellow hangers. Let me know if you have room for us. We would be arriving Saturday around 9AM. Thanks.

Yes, you are both very welcome to join us. We look forward to any newcomers we can hang out with and show off our gear to.

Baja, there is not grill, but Gladius bought a grill grate to put over the campfire last time and we cooked steaks on it. Maybe he can bring it.

I think I will bring a small gas grill, I'm not lugging a big charcoal grill like I did at Santee.

Is Gladius still coming??? I sure hope so.

Baja, I'll be bringing a grill grate for the fire as well. I think mine is a little bigger as it ain't one of those fancy Ti models. Just a cast iron recycled one from my old outdoor kitchen. When I get there Friday, I'm just gonna lean it up over by the fire and anyone is welcome to use it.

Fish on, we ain't elitist like some other types of folks. In fact we're a little backward. Newby ain't a bad word here. In fact, bein' one makes you the guest of honor at any group hang. There is nothing more important to a growing passtime as newcomers and we can't wait ta meet ya.

This hang is gettin' outa hand.....'bout time!

I'm lovin it, and I need to start packing the gear up. Thanks Cpt Smiley I'll keep that in mind. I am bringing lots of extra stuff so the grill may stay home. I am also bringing wood for the fire and that will take up quite a bit of space in the truck.
    I can't wait, boy I'm getting anxious....

Fish on, welcome. As Cap says we enjoy having new folks, it's great to be able to watch and help them learn. More than enough trees to go around look forwards to seeing y'all.

alright guys, its almost upon us and the 6 OG hangers has now gone to 26~!

i want to make one small change if theres no objection: dinners

i think i posted someplace that Friday night we all go to dinner out, and Saturday we eat at camp. If its ok, id like to flip flop that so we can be there to meet all comers to the campsite. its been bugging me slightly with the last hang someone came while we were out and didnt end up camping with us because they couldnt figure where we were.

and i think this will work out better too for the sports store field trips, because while were out we can pick up fresh ingredients and such for the nights dinner and not have to fight rush hour traffic.
Give a man fire and he's warm for the night.
