I have asked for one of you UQ's for Christmas. If the wife comes through... I'll have lots of pics for you.

I have a few decent pictures of the standard cuben fiber tarp. The one that is a little blurry and looks like a diamond was set up for fair weather with all the outer pull-outs tucked back under the ridge line using the side pull-outs only. It is a great way to set up with minimal coverage for star gazing. Try it, you'll like it . As you can see the tarp can easily cover two hammocks. My son and I were nice and dry that sleeting night. The Winter one, the hammock was hung high to prevent CBS There was an incredible wind that night. We hung around 100' from the Lake Superior shoreline (poor site selection) and with the ends closed down I managed to stayed very warm. Wind, rain, stargazing, coverage, this tarp does it all with and it weighs less then half of my 8x10 silnylon tarp. Forgot to mention the craftsmanship is some of the best I've seen. Love this tarp . HG, keep up the good work and creative designs
I'll throw in a few.

We are now ready to start our way down the Great Unknown. We are three quarters of a mile in the depth of the earth. We have an unknown distance yet to run, an unknow river yet to explore. What falls there are, we know not; what rocks beset the channel, we know not; what walls rise over the river, we know not. Ah, well! We may conjecture many things. The men talk as cheerfully as ever; jests are bandied about freely this morning; but to me the cheer is somber and the jests are ghastly. Powell 1869
Took a couple more pictures this afternoon.
