    Source for no-see-um netting?

I happened onto this the other day and was wondering if anybody has experience with it. It looked like it might be a good, cheap source of material to make a gathered-sock type bugnet:

I've seen them on several military surplus sites and thought maybe someone here has used one or at least seen it. It's so hard to get a sense of scale from online shopping.

    Thanks!

Sounds promising. They call it no-see-um, and it will yeild a 16x6 piece.

For the price - you can't beat it. The mesh is not as small as noseeum - but will block just about anything. Had no problem with it in NC - lotsa bugs there.

That is a steal of a price for that amount of bug netting. The only issue is that it seems to be green in colour and that may limit visibility through the net. Most no-see-um bug nets are black and they allow better visibility through them.

Any idea how much that net weighs?

    Cheers

Hope I don't catch flak for reviving this thread but I just bought this exact thing in hopes to make a bugnet for my hammock. Someone posted above that its not as small as no seeum but the description says
    - Extra Fine No-See-Um Mesh

anyone have any luck with a solid setup using this?
