Looked Awesome...especially the photo looking down the trail with the fog and scary looking trees.

PA is one of my favorite states on the AT, I just had wonderful experiences in the state, so thanks for the jog back....no snakes for me though...too cold and rainy when I walked through.
Speaking of Pa, the whole state has lots to offer and did you know the world's greatest hiker lives there?
Great trip report. How was the terrain and when did it get rocky?
I am looking to a similar trip in the near future with my son. I dont think he can handle (yet) the rocky terrain that I experienced from Delware Water Gap thru Culvers Gap NJ.
Thanks for the compliment to PA MedicineMan...I am still partial to those Roan Highlands..you get that mountain feel and big time views. But since I am here in PA I do enjoy it. The AT is my least favorite trail in the state, the Black Forest Trail being my #1.
I have heard of this "worlds greatest Hiker"....He says he is easy on the eyes too- I don't about that, but he does make a good pancake!

Ahhh, memories...thanks!!!
Thanks for sharing!
Ain't that rock scramble fun. That section just about did me in.
Experts are the ones who think they know everything. Geniuses are the ones who know they don't.
You need seek no rocky summit, for these high places are within you.
