Recently made a giant, double ended SLS whoopie and SRL of 1/8" Amsteel, which is strong and easily worked. Wish I had a spool of it!

I used to be a somebody, now I just camp.
A dynaglide ridgeline would be perfect for you. Both Paul at AHE and myself at CamperMade sell them.

All great choices. I made my first out of 7/64 amsteel (just a big whoopie). My others are from zing-it, no-tangle and dynaglide all with great results.

Thanks for the mention and link Andy. I personally like Dynaglide for a ridge line, there is no way you an over tension it to the point of failure...and I have heard of a few folks that have had 300 and 400 pound test ridge lines fail. I also like that the way the coatings are on dynaglide it has a little more structure...a little less likely to get snagged than looser coated lines like Lash it...but that's mostly a personal thing.

I made my latest one from yellow Dynaglide I bought from Dutch. I think I'm gonna stick with it. I like it for the reasons posted above. I'll be glad to show you this weekend at the hang, gunsfan05. I have also used 1.9 tech line from DIY Gear Supply just fine.
