    [VIDEO] 2012 Hoosier Halloween Hang

Finally have the video from the Halloween Hang done. Sorry that it took a while, but I'm still learning how to use some new video software.

Anyway, the hang was laid back but fun. I was just excited to be able to take a nap each day! Of course, the real benefit to these get-togethers is to be around some good people who share your interests and values. If you have not been to a hang, I cannot fully express to you how much you are missing.

Parking was at the fire tower lot, then a hike of a couple miles along a closed road to a pond for Thursday night, then just past a cemetery deep in the woods for Friday and Saturday nights. People came and went and day hikes were made on trails and to the ruins of an old cabin near the reservoir. The campfire was a welcome circle of warmth and friendship every night.

I hope you enjoy this video as much as I did shooting and publishing it.

"I fish because I love to; because I love the environs where trout are found, which are invariably beautiful... because, in a world where most men seem to spend their lives doing things they hate, my fishing is at once an endless source of delight and an act of small rebellion; because trout do not lie or cheat and cannot be bought or bribed or impressed by power, but respond only to quietude and humility and endless patience...." --Robert Traver

Looks like a good time. Awesome ruins, I love wondering across those things seeming in the middle of nowhere. Thanks for taking us along.

That was a very cool old cabin. I would have loved to see it before it burned. Wonder if anyone has any info on it?

I have a few more videos that need to be done. New computer and software, need to work out the kinks.
