What hammock is she trying? I can bring a couple extra hammocks for her to try out just in case.

SC Fall Sprawl 2013, Santee SC Sept 20-22

She's tried my Hennessy deluxe, WBRR, and my DIY. She has only been able to get about 3 hours in before having to get up. She suffers from Fibromyalgia and gets a lot of joint pain. I'm sure there's a setup that will work for her somewhere.

Looks like the chrysalis weighs in at 5lbs Don't think this is for the backpack but maybe for car camping.

I'm still pretty sure I'm in for this one. Sugarbear says, "The money is tight but the Captain's need is great." It does look like I'll be poling it alone though. Hopefully I'll be able to bring a couple items back from the raffle for her.

She has no problem going to the ground if need be (although I could never imagine me doing it. She has a nice pad that is really comfortable. I know we'll find that sweet spot though. We are frantically working on her setup. I've install wall hooks in the bedroom so she can try different things easily........ Now if she can just keep me out of it ))
