I converted my entire family before I even had one. Discussed it with my wife... showed here a couple of Shug videos and she surprised me and bought 4 WBBBs, 4 Tarps, 4 TQs, and 1 UQ for me because I love cold weather anything). My mom even bought a bunch of line and stuff sacks for me and asked when hers would show up. So I will take credit for 5 all at once.

I lost count a few years ago.

I've converted (at their request) well over 100 Colorado hikers/campers to hammocks. Most of my friends have at least slept a night in a hammock.
My mother sleeps full-time in a hammock and so did her dog that couldn't walk the last few months of his life.
We no longer speak, but last I heard my younger brother slept in a hammock full-time.
My live-in girlfriend sleeps full-time in a hammock. To be fair, she didn't really have a choice.
A neighbor that has since moved away, was sleeping full-time in a hammock for a few months before they moved.

I've been busy for a lazy hammock dude.
    Trust nobody!

So far I have converted my wife, my mother in law and three sons, several scouts in my troop and i am fast being known as the hammock guy in the council. Everyone in my council knows that I am crazy for them. So far been asked to do a couple of trainings on them.

We just had our BSA district Klondike. 9 of the 12 scouts were in hammocks and the other 3 had no shelter so they took to the ground (under the tarps of the "prepared" hammockers). Our campsite looked awesome and we were able to set up and have a fire going in 30 minutes while we heard the ping ping of stakes being pounded in all around us for hours. I am proud of my 'boys' who are becoming real men.

About 2yrsu ago I gave a friend a diy gathered end, he now hammock camps and sleeps in one every night. Its funny because he used to give me a hard time about being a full time hammocker & having hammock in the house!!

A Co-Worker last winter suggested I join him for a a hiking weekend in late Spring. Gave me plenty of time to research what I needed to get outfitted. I already had a 2-man North Face tent, 7lbs, sleeping bag, 8lbs and backpack 6lbs. 21lbs and no room for anything else in pack. Spring hike came around and I had a GTUL, Tyvek Tarp, and 3lb. bag and PLUQ. Buddy thought I was crazy setting up The Sleep System. Sure he was all set up on the ground before me, I was fiddling alot. Next morning after a 10 hour sleep and breakfast I asked if he wanted to try this hammock thing. Hesitated about it, but, finally got in. What he was afraid of happened immediatly! He was going to have to spend money and time to get off the ground!!!! I thank Him for getting me into hiking, he Thanks me for getting him off the ground, but, Big Thanks to this Forum for teaching us so much. Looking forward to many hikes this Spring and Summer. My 13 yr.old Son got a GTUL also and will be joining us. As I upgrade he gets what I started with. Definitly going to a be a fun year!
