I was hoping to try it over the Thanksgiving weekend but we had a cold front move in and with we got much colder temps. I plan to work on the sleeve pouch next week and in the meantime maybe the weather will get a bit warmer. Then I get out and give it a try.

I'll take a pic of mine and get it posted this weekend.

I bought one for 12.99, so it was a no brainer for that price.

    Sleeve for lawson hammock

I am planning to sew a sleeve on the underside of my lawson to hold my pad. I was wondering if a tablecloth would work for that. Any thoughts would be appreciated...

Thanks, ibgary, that would be cool. I would like to try that.
dj: I had to buy a lot of them to get them at that price at an overstock/discount place in Rome, GA. Bargain Hunt was the name of the place. I bought all of them! I have an addiction.

Hi, sorry this took so long. Here are the pics of the new end lashing I put on.
One of the things, and there are many, that I like with this design, is the ability to change the length of the lines from inside to out, thus changing the tightness or flatness of your lay. Time to practice spelling with daughter. I'll be back with more.

Next, I'm thinking of trying a lighter spreader bar also. From the pic it doesn't look like there is much room under the net, but with your weight in the hammock, there is a lot of room. On the ground is another story, its like a large bivy.
The bottom material is heavy duty. Thicker, heavier and better coated than my tent floor.
You can look up the weight, but its about what my 1-2 person mar weighs. Not for the ultra light hiker.
It also comes with a top cover, which felt very warm in the back yard.
In the 1st pic there is a piece of the black line I replaced, just so you can see the difference.
