    Doublenest for a side sleeper?

    Hi all,

Any side sleepers out there in a doublenest?

Any thoughts on how well it would work or not?

I'm new to hanging, but I love that I can piece a system together as I go. This is probably going to be a Christmas present.

Currently I am using an ENO Doublenest. I have no problem sleeping on my side with it. I can even flip over to either side without changing my angled lie. At times I have also been able to do some time on my stomach as well.

Nice! Good to hear. Thanks for the feedback. I think I'll give one a shot. Gonna have to get a DIY underquilt lined up, too.

Side sleep and use a warbonnet blackbird. Works like a charm and would highly recommend it. Well worth the money.

Keep in mind hat you're also going to have to pick up something for under insulation. Lot's of great discussion on the various options.

I went from a closed cell pad to a really nice under quilt. World of difference, and the only real limiting factor is your budget.

I use an ENO dbl when I sleep inside (always wondered what those beams in the basement were good for ). I'm 6'5" and I have no problem side sleeping. Waking up in a fetal position wrapped in the warmth of my Jarbridge is a wonderful thing!

I sleep on my right side, back and left side with my Pug. No problems, I roll and the Pug moves with me. I am short. I also have a Hennessy, it is the same with it. I move just fine in either of the hammocks. Keeping war is the key to comfort for me.

I sidesleep in a SN and that's okay...though a little calf pressure about half the time.

Thanks for all of the replies, guys. An underquilt is definitely the next question. I'm also considering getting a quilt to use when tent camping and as an "upperquilt". Trying to save up for a house, so it will most likely be a DIY underquilt for me for now.
