I like my Arrowhead Equipment Toxaway Tarp. I think it has comparable coverage to the Superfly.
Lots like the 12' Kelty Noah. It can usually be had for $60-70. Not quite as much coverage but a superfly is priced pretty low so it's hard to get as much coverage/weight/packability for a lot less.

the superfly is a really good value for the money, not sure there is much out there with doors that you will find cheaper, unless you go heavier.....plus brandon does really great work and is super easy to deal with and is just an all around great guy on top of it all

If you are not worried about weight, a PU coated tarp will less expensive than a silnylon one. The MEC guide tarp offers enough coverage that you can close up the ends like doors. The Chinook tarps are decent but as far as I know they still only use grommets which are not as strong as tabs. The MEC tarp has grommets and nylon tabs.
Don't let life get in the way of living.
After what I've weathered in my Superfly... I'd advise you to just save up your pesos and buy one. It's a great design plus you'd be supporting a great company.
The problem with being better than everyone else is that people tend to think you are pretentious.
You could get a 10 x 12 from Campmor. It is really not that much cheaper though, and the Superfly is WAY better for hammock camping.
If you are not too concerned about weight, you could get one of the lightweight tarps from Walmart, back in the automotive dept. You can get them in a couple of different weights: heavy or lightweight and in different sizes. It would probably last you until you could afford a really good hammock tarp.
