The seams around the panel pulls need to be sealed or at least mine did. I have read some that have not sealed them only noticed some tiny drips after extended rain so it's not urgent but still needs to be done. The ridgeline is not sealed but it is sewn with grosgrain in such a way that sealing is not necessary. You could still seal it if you want but its not needed.

Permatex flowable silicone available in automotive stores is really good for getting in the seams and is also cheaper and easier than using something like McNett Sil-net. Many here including me have used it with great results.

Tie outs, line locks, zing it, tarp flies, figure nines, stingers, pole mod from 2qzq... The list is endless... I am ordering mine on Friday...

Mine should be delivered tomorrow. I just picked up some seam sealer for the tie outs and a loop turner for putting fixed eyes on the Dyneema I ordered with it. Tomorrow I'll be making guy lines and figuring out how I want to configure everything.

I'm thinking about getting the tarp flyz or stingerz from Dutch. Seems so much easier than tying knots every time I put it up.

I bought a pair of figure nines a while back... So I will just add my figure nine to the Superfly... And I still have a dutch hook so that will go on the other end...

I have prusiks on every tie out. I put a loop on the end that gets secured to a stake and the guyline just slides through the prusik for adjustment. Doesn't get much simpler than that. For the trees I have a Dutch hook on the end of each guyline. Just put it around the tree and hook it to the line, then adjust the line through the prusik.

My First-world problem of the day:

Dutch created too many good ways for me to connect my tarp... now I can't make up my mind.

But I have never liked them.

This is how I string up my SF: I create 2 prussiks with 1 Dutch hook Link attached to each and then 2 plain prussiks. 1 of each of the prussiks goes on each side of the tarp. To string up the tarp I take the prussik with the dutch hook attached and wrap it around the tree and then attach it to the other prussik. Using the Prussiks allows me to be able to adjust for different distances between trees.
