    Finally hangin' right!

I finally got around to figuring out the best way to rig my hammock in The Swamp (my workshop). I fought with the idea of stands, and ended up driving eye bolts through doubled up studs. I still worry about it supporting my weight with me waking up in a rubble of what was once my Swamp, now toppled inward on top of me.

Of course, as soon as I posted this on Facebook a friend of mine in the UK pointed out that it looks like I'm hanging in The White Horse in Hutton-Cranswick (my favorite pub in the whole world)...which only means now I have to make another trip to England to double check his assessment.
I used to be a somebody, now I just camp.

I spend most every night until bedtime out here playing on the internets and watching DVDs, and I've been dying to get my hammock set up in there. I took some research I did here on the forums and applied it, and hopefully the structure is solid enough to hold me up...now I never even have to come inside to go to bed.

SWMBO sure is gonna miss me.

I'm married...have been for five years.

Why do you think I spend my evenings in The Swamp? Kidding, the wife's great most of the time. I just like having my own little place to hang out and decompress at the end of the day.

Well Gresh, you are officially an indoor hanger now...Welcome to the fulltimers club (well soon you will be). Now if you could just get your wife involved (I'm still working on mine) you can swing together in blissful hammock harmony till the end of your days. btw nice "cave"...I don't have one, darn base housing...
