Have been looking all over for a HH to continuous loop conversion but have not been able too find one.
#1 If anyone has done this what size of loop did you use?
#2 How did you configure the loop run on the hammock?
Thanks Dogbone

I would think it would be similar to the whoopie conversion in the stickied video above. I couldn't find exactly what you're looking for, at least not a video. Here's a link though that did use a loop instead of a whoopie sling. Looking at the attachment, it looks like it was done just like the whoopie attachment, but I can't swear that it's exactly the same. Any close modification should be up to the task though.

I'm about to do this, I've ordered some 15" continious loops to replace the suspension on my HH.
I am intending to wrap them in the same way as you would if you were going to replace with a whoopie. When they arrive I will post a pic or two
I have done this exactly as the whoopie conversion. I also made my continuous loops with the ring attached and then larks headed the whoopie to that...
I installed a continuous loop on my EXP UL, I think the loop was 12" - 15", and have ~5" free on the ends. As for the connection, I just followed the same instructions for attaching the fixed eye of the whoopie.
We make our loops at 17" for the Hennessy. That allows room to re-use the end cap if desired and to accommodate snake skins if so used. Installation is just like whoopie slings and here is a link to a video:

Wow
Not even 24hrs and I have my answer! Dang I love this forum
Thanks too all that responded! I was mainly concerned on how big to make the continuous loop did not want too make the bugger too small
Smokebait,
Could you tell me what is the overall length of the Amstel before the loop is made for the 17" continuous?
Thanks Dogbone
Ok have them done and boy is this a sweet setup over the stock suspension.
Made 16in loops using 48in of Amstel with 8in buries which leaves 5in of loop showing when the cover is back in place I love it!
Nice one!
i cannot wait for mine to arrive to do the same
Well I have just finished the change over to whoopies, hooks, 1" webbing and clips so a whole change over. It was surprisingly simple to do thanks to some good info on here.
Whilst I'm not a gram weenie I did save 437 grams or 15 oz . Here is a picture of the finished ends ( I put the caps back on)
and the weight saving
the now spare parts
