    I read "The Long Walk" by Steven King. An early short story if I'm not mistaken. Great story....kids are chosen from across the country to participate in this "long walk". It's a contest really with only one winner. Basically, if you stop you get shot. Would make an interesting movie.

    Sounds like a delightful modern version of 'The Most Dangerous Game'.
