I don't get it. I have never had a problem with my UQ staying tight on my bridge, but I did make this Mod.

Predictions are risky, especially when it comes to the future.
They're talking specifically about the WB torso UQ; it fits quite a bit differently than other UQs (for now). It is designed to be used on the diagonal; this isn't a great match to the BMBH which is designed for a hanger to lie straight in line. I (personally) don't think the WB torso UQ will perform well under those conditions. At least, not as well as on hammocks that people will lay diagonally in. JMO.
Ohhhhhh OK. I was curious about that as well.

Ahhhhh, so sorry. Thought you were talking about JRB Quilts.

BillyBob,
Great write-up! Extremely thorough.
I recently picked up a used BMBH and WOW! I was actually thinking I may never "LOVE" hammocks, just like them....You know, the fiddle factor w/setup, some of the side sleeping issues, etc.
But after trying this, I have a very comfortable, no-fuss bed now. Wish I bought one sooner.
Thanks, FM, and I know what you mean. There are some stark differences between this hammock and others that take a little getting used to at first, but once you do, it is comfort city, at least for me! And there really is not much "fiddle factor". I don't bother with a ridge line. It is supposed to be 9"6" between outer rings, but for me, if I am anywhere in the ball park, that is good enough. Basically, I just pull it fairly tight, and then back off a few inches. ( or, if the net is on, I pull it till the net is tight, then back off a bit). That always seems to be good enough, and when I measure it will be with in a couple of inches either way of of the 9'6". I may add a RL anyway just for hanging things from.
