About to sell my full length and go 3/4. I have a summer te-wa underquilts it takes much less fiddling to get it snug than my full length. I feel like if I pull my full length super tight there are no gaps but my butt still gets cold in cool weather because I am compressing the down right there. Might just be me doing something wrong but never had the issue with the partial length

I'm a newb getting ready to order an UQ. I thought a full was a "no brainer" (I'm 6' tall and "husky"). I'm seeing some good arguments for 3/4, though I still like that FL seems like less fuss once it's on.

My question for FL users - what do you do in the summer?

I'm just getting into this, live in NY, and want to be able to camp in spring through fall. I'm looking at the UGQ Zeppelin 20*. (AMAZING customer service there, BTW. Paul has answered every stupid question I've asked, and I haven't even bought anything yet!) I'm a warm sleeper, but that's in a bed. I know this is all VERY much YMMV.

    3/4 vs full

3/4 is mostly about volume and weight. If you have a full lenght in summer and feel warm you can vent. If you have a 3/4 and cold legs you must add additional insulation, like a pad. I'm 6'5 and a warm sleeper, but I prefer a warm FL UQ, vent if necessary and compensate with a light TQ. My 40* 3/4 is only for summer.
