    Eastern VA Newbe

Not sure how active I will be...but I like motorcycling, and hammocks seem like they go well with mountain camping and riding. I hope this hobby gets me to do more exercise and also spend time with my children. I look forward to just hanging around I am 300 lbs so I went with the HH Safari after buying a heavy hammock from bass pro to guage if I could get comfortable enough to sleep in one. I first started looking at tents, but dread the setup and packing up part. I also don't want to have to pack an air mattress just to find comfort. I may go that route for family car camping though. I will have the cub and another hammock for the kiddos, not sure if I can drag the wifey into this, but i
    sure hope so.

Welcome from Northern VA! If you enjoy it, others will just latch on. My girlfriend is a huge fan of hammock naps now.
