Greetings from a Wis. newbie

Hi everybody. I'm brand new to hanging, as well as to this site. I hail from Appleton, WI. and am retired as of last January.

I've been leading canoe trips in the BWCA/Quetico for 38 years. Two years ago someone gifted me with a used hammock that I fell in love with and brought with me on every canoe trip after that. I already had a nylon tarp, ..and then I saw and bought an Eno Guardian Bug Net. It all came together. This coming July I'll be doing my second solo trip in the BWCA and will try hanging instead of tenting. I'm excited and very much looking forward to it.

I've watched the videos on making your own whoopie slings. That's my next project. Anyone know a good place to pick up 7/64th Amsteel cordage?
