Kudos to the member who originally thought this up (sorry can't remember your user name). I had a piece of 10ft 1/2" cpvc pipe from another project and wanted to try this cheap trick. I cut the pipe in half and using mini biners attached them to the panel pull outs on my Big Mamajamba tarp. It really works well!
It makes a huge space inside the tarp and no sewing at all.
I set this up this morning - took all of 20 minutes and most of that was fighting the heavy winds here. It's a true "hook-up in a minute" set-up.
I'm happy with another fast and cheap (the cpvc only cost $2.50) DIY project.
