I love my Handy Hammock. I am 6'2" and 230 lbs and I find it very comfortable. Used it this summer and will be tying it out with a UC later this month.

Thanks for posting the vid. I have had mine pull out once or twice. I will try doubling the length mine and see how it goes. I also agree with the use of one. I can't recall a time when I couldn't find at least one permanent attachment point such as a tree or post. On the other hand I've often had a hard time finding two trees, especially in state parks here in the U.S.
Let us know if you are still satisfied with lengthening the lines after you've used it a while.

Would this be the most portable hammock stand available?
Every year I go to a Motorcycle rally called "The Cold Kiwi" which used to be at a site with trees. The site changed to one with no trees available so I'm thinking about maybe buying this Handy Hammock stand to load on the motorbike and take with me.
I've got a Redverz series II Expedition tent that I'm thinking about using with the bedroom removed to make one large area which might just be big enough to setup a Handy Hammock in - just an idea at this stage.
Basically I'm thinking about all the advantages of having a tent to hang out in with the comfort of a hammock to hang in.
On the bike I strap a large bag to the back seat, listed at: dimensions 30-Inch x 14-Inch x 15-Inch closed; capacity 6712-Cubic Inch; 110-Liter
So this 30" packed system could be strapped on to the seat along side the bag or maybe inside the bag.
I do have a bit of room to take as much gear as I want (within reason):
The capacity I have available for gear is: top box - 55 litres, panniers - 2 x 35 litres = 70 litres total, tail bag - 110 litres. That is a total of 235 litres of storage.
I'm thinking that this is doable!

These pack in to a bag about 22" X 4" around. I know weight isn't an issue since I Moto-camp as well. This is about as long as a tent, but can be strapped on almost anywhere. I strap mine onto the seat behind me, behind my Wolfman dry bag. Since I don't carry a tent anymore, I have lots of room. Next is the Kermit Chair, about the same length packed.

I've ordered my Handy Hammock stand, I'll try it out at home to make sure I know what I'm doing and then I'll take it with me to the Cold Kiwi Motorcycle rally.
I've also bought a down UQ so things have gotten a bit spendy.
I found an ENO UQ on sale, but I know what you mean!
Read through some of the posts about questions setting up the kit, it's not hard, but it definitely takes a run through or two! I use cardboard, cut with a notch, to keep the cords straight.

Yeah, I have an ST1300 and a DR650 - great for travelling and exploring.
I got my hammock stand and tried it out.
It works really well as a hammock stand.
But I couldn't get my Hex Fly or my Yukon fly to work well with it, really hard to not have the fly touching me when I'm in the hammock.
So I gave my idea a go and it worked incredibly well:
That's the hammock stand very nicely fitting inside my Redverz Expedition II tent. The camera corrected the white balance and completely changed the colour of my tent, but you should be able to get the idea.
This should work well and let me use what I have right now without spending more money.
Maybe I'll work out how to get a tarp working with this hammock stand, but I think the stand in a big tent idea will do the job in the mean time.
A Redverz - NICE! pretty jealous of that! SO you set it up in the garage, huh? I admit, the fly is a bit of a problem...
