looks like I am out. Got stuck working this weekend. However, my brother and I are doing the wildcat hollow trail next weekend if anyone is interested.
If a tree falls in the woods and it lands on mime, does anyone care?

Hey Mike, I can do either:
Meet you at 9 and night hike in (which is always cool).....
or be there earlier and get some wood cut and a fire going.
Ya might wanna just go ahead in without me because if I get there late I might just see if that spot to the side of the service road is available and mozy on up. I might be bringing a buddy from work and that will put me on the road a little later waiting on him to get to my place so we can leave.

So, how did it go?
Had a great time. I got there about 9:30 and Home Run had a nice big fire goin. The moon was out so it gave us a bright night. I got set up and we hung out around the fire BS'd til around 2. By then we had split a 6 pack and were tuckered out. It got down to about 38. We spent the next day chatting and collecting firewood for the chilly night ahead, wandered around camp checking out the other locations and ducking when we heard gunshot. There were several hunters passing through the area. I found a split shotgun slug on the ground right by the stump I was sitting on from the very recent past it seemed. I noticed a tree right inline with where the slug was found that looked like it had been grazed. We did some cleaning up pf beer cans and left behinds from previous campers. It was an earlier night saturday. It only got down to 40 but was pretty breezy all night and very bright with another full moon and the stars were out in display before the moon got too bright. After a morning lounge and breakfast we started breaking camp and got all packed up just in time for a light sprinkle. I parked on the service road just down the hill from the latrine so we had an easy retreat. The skys opened up just as we got down king hollow. Had a great time hanging out with Home Run. He's good people! He has some pics, I didn't get a chance to take any.

Sounds like you guys had a great time. I'm almost able to come out to a hang! Just need an UQ. Hopefully January or February.
