I like that when I click the "new posts" in the menu bar, all the trips, regardless of region subforum, show up. Creating the subforums hasn't diminished the larger sense community I like here.
I love the new Regional Sub-forum layout and naming convention.
This place just gets better and better.

I think it will be very helpful and I hope that others start using the naming convention. I've been doing it that way for almost a year (but I can't claim credit for the idea... I just thought it made sense when I saw someone else do it) and it really helps hang planning threads pop out when you are looking at all new posts (I normally just look at all of the posts instead of sub forums).

Great now its going to be even harder to keep track of stuff given that I've made 7 hangs outside "my region" in the last year and camping in 5 different regions... Can we get a setting to make our personal forums not have the sub regions? Its hard enough going through the main one, I honestly don't think going through 5 forums vs 1 is worth doing at all. Guess I'll have to get people to PM about hangs.
