I recently acquired a 3/4 Rev X UQ from Tim Marshall at Enlightened Equipment. It's a prototype of what he hopes to bring to market in January. 20* (overstuffed) and 14oz. Combined with a 20* (overstuffed) Rev X TQ you're all in at 2lbs. 7oz. The quality is superb and he's great to deal with.

Thanks for all the recommendations everyone! I decided to go for an HG Incubator. I got the 20F long.

I REALLY wanted to go for weigh savings, but in the end, I think I'd rather carry the extra weigh to be toasty and to not have to fight a pad. That being said, I chose the 20F instead of the 0F since I will have the option of using pads with the double layer.

Can't wait to get out there in the cold and see if I survive!

you can vent in summer,,, or may be happy to have it if you're at timberline.

a 20F tq / uq should put you right at 3 lbs.

as time went on,, i got a 30F phoenix for longer hikes in summer to supplement my full length 20F
My son (8yo) has a small Hennessy. I think a 3/4 would fit him perfectly for a long time to come. At some point I'd like to pickup a Phoenix or a Yeti "for him to have", that I could also use.

I hope you can make it to our winter hang coming up in January. Should be fun!
Thanks for letting me know about the Hang coming up! Read over the forum post and it sounds awesome. I've got kiddo #3 due in late January, so that will likely be cutting it too close. But we'll see!

Oh no! I couldn't make up my mind on the overstuffing, so decided to go without it. Don't make me second guess myself.

Me too. Helps make sure stuffing doesn't shift and cause cold spots.

I have a 20° Phoenix with no over stuff. I have never had a problem with shifting down. I just fluff it up prior to attaching to the hammock to make sure the down is evenly distributed in the baffles. I'm over 6 feet too, but and typically a side sleeper. With the Phoenix, my feet are to hang off the edge when in the fetal position. I carry a sit pad anyway so I stick that in the foot box of my 20° Burrow if my feet get cold. Hammock Gear over stuffs all their quilts by 15 to 20% according to their website. So, I think you will be fine in the temperature you are planning on using the quilt. If it gets colder, just use both the pad and the UQ. I think you will find the UQ to be a lot more comfortable than the pads and will use it year round as you can vent it. I have used mine at nearly 80* with proper venting.

Awesome, thanks for the info. Part of the reason I went away from overstuff is to keep the bag versatile, though that may not have made that big of a difference.
