Planned setup is as follows:
Hammock: WBBB 1.1 Double Layer
Insulation: EvaRest 1/4" CCF Pad (24"x72", will trim extra length and possibly use for SPE)
Bag: Marmot Helium 15F
I plan to start NOBO in the middle of April. Given this proposed setup and start date, do you see any problems with it being too cold? I've looked up averages and they seem to bottom out at 40F for April and early May.
I am wondering about a ccf underpad using dutch quilt clips. You could kill some condensation and the folding onto yourself. Now if Gossomer would just get some in!! I have seen them post about getting some but the other links may be useful. I know warbonnet has a few sites for recommending ccf too.
Are you absolutely stuck on a CCF pad? The Exped DownMat and Synmat (I use a SynMat) come in widths up to 25".
I believe some of the other manufacturers also make wide width inflatable insulated pads.
I got this today, 30" wide. Great seller, bought it on saturday, needed this saturday, got it today with a holiday shortened week no less. You can smell the manufacturing in it, so I'm airing it out now.
I did'nt shop around on it. Here's one from another source:

DIY SPE maybe?
If you can dream it, you can do it.
