    Short hammock

    So here's the thing.

The other day, I got a chance to try out a tablecloth hammock I got for my brother for Christmas, and it seems appreciably longer than my ENO DoubleNest.

Laying in my DoubleNest just now, I'm like "dang. I'm spoiled on that tablecloth."

Here's my question: Aside from a tablecloth hammock, what reasonably price (IE: under $100) hammock should I put on the list for consideration that's longer than the ENO, will support at least 375 lbs, and comes from a reputable manufacturer?

Edit: I'm 6'4", and lay on a diagonal. I'm pretty sure that makes a difference.

The BIAS hammocks are 11 feet.

Papa Smurf would build one that you like.

BIAS doesn't seem to have the weight rating I need.

BIAS are the ones that come in most consistently under $100 and are 11 ft. long. Dream Hammocks tend to be the top of the line in the group (lots of options with integrated bug nets, etc.).

Go with the double layer option. It adds $40 but still keeps it under $100 and brings the recommended weight up to 400lbs.

BIAS Camper is 1.9 oz ripstop, and a DL will support 400 lbs.

I'd vote for the Night Owl (although the BIAS is very nice as well). I love my WL gear. You will be in a bit over your mentioned price, but the quality is top notch.

Why not just get yourself a tablecloth hammock? You could use that other money as a down payment for a nice UQ

I'd definitely check out the BIAS gear and encourage supporting cottage industry folks who are active here.

As another option, have you checked the Kammok Roo? It's at the top of your price range, has a 500lb max capacity, and a unique fabric that's really comfortable.

After saying that, I agree with Caveman. Why not go the table cloth route. It works. You like it. It's a bargain. Unless you need a fancy label, I can't think of anything past those critera for a personal use hammock.

Dream-Hammock has several materials that should support your weight. But then why not just make yourself a Tablecloth.com hammock?
