Any free campgrounds in the Francis Marion national forest?

Looking to test out some new camping gear. Are there any free camping areas in the national forest? Like hunting camps or anything like that.

Here is the link for the Palmetto Trail:

They have some free campsites on some of the trails, others you have to pay for.

The upper parts are pretty close to Greenville, SC. Oconee, Jocasee Gorge, Saluda Mountains, Poinsette resevoir and Blue Wall are pretty close and very "Mountainy"

There are a few free camping areas. Haven't been to any of them yet, but I live about an hour or less from most of them. So if you decide to camp at any of them & want company just let me know.
