I have several "Frozen Butts" hanging in the freezer, well laying on the shelves. I bought 10 of them this past spring when they were on sale. I smoke one ever now and then. The meat just falls off the bone. Best pork I have ever had. If this will be a spring hang, I may have to make this one and skip the VA hang. Just thinking about it is making my mouth water, hmmmm maybe I'll smoke one next weekend!!!!!.........RR

I'd be interested depending on the date and my schedule.
Well I'd say that's a definite bit of interest guess I'll start figuring out a date with the park as to what is available and get a reservation set. I'm going to tentatively say the last weekend of March, but of course plans may change and I'll get an official planning thread up in the new SouthEast Regional subforum soon as I can get an official date set.

I am interested and have some hickory that may be dried in time for the hang.
