Great price on small load-bearing 'biner

FYI - Just found a good buy on Utility 3" Carabiners, similar to those sold by TrekLightGear, but cheaper. 500kg load capability; .75 oz.(my kitchen scale); only @$7.99; FREE shipping; AND you can have your trail name / message screened on one side; NO set-up charge. I ordered a couple about a week ago and got them yesterday. They look great and will be used to build a ridgeline system for my GrandTrunk hammock. (Disclaimer: I have no financial interest in the company; just a satisfied customer.)

That is a good deal, with your name etched and all...

To be fair, TrekLightGear sells what appears to be the same biner (without the etching) for $10.99/pair link
Both would be great stocking stuffers!

Did you look at their quantity pricing? If I read this right, the price drops to $2.50/ea when you order 50. Group buy, anyone?

Mebbe someone could get them customized to say "hammockforums.net" and donate the profits to hammockforums? I'd buy some of those. Sell them for about $5 each....

    Count the Mule in.

    I'll take at least 2.
If need be, I can likely find a use for 2 more to make the 50 breakover. $5.00 with the profits to HF is OK by me.

    BTW, 500 KG = 1100 Lbs.

standing by, to do my part. At $5 each as a fund raiser I could spring for a bunch. (so long as they had HF inscribed!)
