I don't know about all of you, but I can hardly wait till the hang. In fact think I'm going to smoke some pork butt this weekend for my birthday.

While snow might not be the typical weather for making BBQ, I still got a pair of butts in the smoke getting ready for tomorrow's festivities.

    Further update in 10 - 12 hours.

Mmmm. My invite must be lost in the mail. What time does the party start?

Seven hours in, five more to go. Got a nice looking bark going on and the smell is...well I won't torture any of you out there with those details.

Must have, although with the snow today we're expecting almost everyone to back out by tomorrow.

So 11 pages was a lot to scroll through, so I'll just ask here. What was the verdict, pre-pay or raffle? Also, whats the cost and when is it due by? We are in crunch time and the boss is reluctant to let anyone even have a day off, let alone a weekend. I'll see what I can do.

Just doing it off of donations this time around. Total site cost at this point is $192 for the two sites for 2 nights. Donations can be sent to my PayPal ( [email protected] ) for whatever amount you feel comfortable with, every dollar helps. I don't want anyone to feel left out just because money is tight, if you can get here then you are welcome to come. I'm not going to publish a list of those who have donated, although I do want you all to know that you have my deepest thanks.

And just to wet all yall's appetites here is a picture of the pork post pulling and chopping and before people dug in.

    It was divine.
