    rattlesnake point complete!

Well we made it none the worse for wear, even though Friday night got down to -14Celsius with the windchill (thought I'd have a bad case of CBS for sure but I ended being ok!)
Had a small sleeping bag turned inside out used as a pillowcase for my little self infalting air mattress and used my own sleeping bag as a top quilt and actually slept great, tip of my nose got a bit colder than I liked but other than that I was good to go.

Couple snaps for you guys to laugh at

Looks like you both had a good time! One of the places I still want to go.

It was fun, only thing i didn't care for was the fact that the site is completely exposed with not one tree on it. You have to go to the edge of the site and then down the hill to get into the trees so you are prettymuch exposed to the elements while at the fire pit. The winds got the snow going sideways on us it was very strong and we sure could have used some trees to tie some tarps to for some shelter while eating etc but all in all a good trip.

Do you get snow there, not sure what your usual weather is like for winter.

Congratulations on your December hang at Rattlesnake!
    Nice pictures!
Did you end up at site #3? Sorry to hear that you had trouble finding suitable trees. On the other hand, hanging on a hillside is a perfect example of how awesome hammock camping can be...just don't drop anything out of the hammock!

I've heard site 17 have been used in the past, did you see any other good hanging sites while you were there?
