Weather.com has an option for "Ellicott Rock Wilderness Area." They predict 20% on Friday, 0% on Saturday, and 10% on Sunday.

P.S. In my experience, a prediction of 0% chance of rain is a near certainty of at least a slight shower.

The following website has a user selectable map that details the area of interest. Weather graphs at the bottom right of the page give you even more precise data.

Weather.Gov has quickly become my go to website for weather forecasting and trip planning.

That's a much better forecast than I was getting from the Weather Channel. I was looking at Salem SC, which is the Lake Jocassee area and it looked pretty dismal all day Friday. I believe everyone is calling for good weather Sat and Sun.
I'm pretty stoked about this weekend.

Thanks, FIMB! It looks like the rain should end before noon. I'm liking that forecast.
Keep movin', keep believing and enjoy the journey!

You all are welcome. I have been roped into helping Saturday morning with getting ready for my cousin's wedding Saturday night so swinging in for an overnight Friday is now out. I'm a bit bummed. I really enjoyed being out with you all last time and hope to make it out again soon with the group.

    Have fun without me, gang.

    This is so disappointing.
I was really looking forward to finally meeting you and swapping lies around the fire.

I'm still not sure if I'll be able to make it...I'm hoping to, but probably won't know for sure until late tonight or tomorrow morning. Dad's having out patient surgery today...gotta wait and see how that goes and make sure I don't need to stay nearby for the weekend.

I've got a little money in my Paypal account that I'd like to use for the raffle if I'm able to come...will paying via Paypal late tonight or in the morning be a problem? Hope to see you all tomorrow afternoon!

I'm drawn to the open country. Its where the world makes the most sense. When I put myself out there I always return with something new.

How about these... "We're going to have a great time this weekend no matter what the weather does", though it looks real good, if a bit nippy.

Excited? I am, but I am also undecided about when to try to get there, this evening in the rain, or tomorrow morning in the rain. Sure would be nice to get in an extra night in the rain. I am traveling with a friend/hanger from the Raleigh area and he may have traveled all he wants to for today by the time he gets to my house. Time will tell I suppose.
