I may be in for this one, although I lack any fishing gear. There is another hang at Panther Creek Falls tentatively scheduled for the weekend before, so I'm not sure if I can make both.

Now far ahead the Road has gone,

Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say."

I'll be there if you want to arrive after dark.

I feel like some sort of "red light" joke should be made here.

Bummer, I'm planning on the Smoked Butt hang, want to do the Panther Creek Falls hang, and now this, and this is wayyy attractive. Maybe two out of three.

Don't know much about Panther Creek but I used to live in Raleigh and have hung at the Chattooga- IMHO Burrell's Ford scenery is MUCH better than Falls Park! May help you decide. Put me down as a maybe for the Hang Out for a Cure.

4hats this is a very nice hang. The entire river bottom is beautiful. It's a nice easy hike in too if you decide to bring the Mrs.

I have stayed at the improved campground twice and wasn't as fond of it as I am the natural campsites upstream. People tend to trash the campground.

Agreed, and I'm hoping that some of us can congregate about a .25m in (nobo).
