Now you have to come to an Ohio hang so the rest of us can get a look at the new Ridgerunner.

    Enjoy,

I'm jealous...still eagerly awaiting my shipping notification. I'm glad to see all the super-positive posts lately while I'm waiting. I can always use the ammo when the wife starts to gripe. Of course, the "it was on sale" defense only goes so far.

I'm actually trying to figure out what to do for an UQ so that I can get to an Ohio hang sooner!

No joke, this hammock converted my wife to hammock camping overnight. I was stunned.

If anyone is interested here is the weight breakdown of the WBRRDL and the WBCB Tarp:

    WBRR Poles only: 9.90oz
    WBRR Adjustable Webbing Susp: 6.50oz
    WBRR Stuff Sack: 0.70oz
WBRRDL Hammock only (no webbing or stuff sack, unmodified): 20.35oz

    WBCB Stuff Sack: 0.40oz
WBCB Tarp only (no lines, exactly as it arrived to me): 17.35oz

By the way, did you have a snooze? How did it feel?
I slept in it out in the garage last night and night before last. Monday night was great, the temps were in the 50s and I was comfortable wearing some poly tights and a long sleeve tee with my 20 degree bag over top. I used my deflated air core in the pad pocket. I actually got too hot with the 20 degree bag over top of me and had to take it off for a while. Last night we got frost. Despite my puffer shirt, sweats and tights with wool socks on with the 20 degree bag and the air core + reflectix pads under, my back got cold and I had to retreat at 0500. Disappointing, but the hammock was not to blame. That thing is so comfortable and the DL really does make it more versatile despite the weight penalty in my opinion. I can't say enough about it.

OK my RR arrived yesterday so I got to hang it up and try it for only and hour or so before it got dark. Does anyone know the purpose of small bag of cord Brandon sent with it?

Yip, drip cords, especially for the shock cords coming off the bug net.
