"Stoikurt Serape" (top quilt with head hole)

The good, the bad, and the UGLY!

    The warm version with sleeves.

12 oz down, 9 oz fabric, 21 oz total, 2.5 inches of loft, velcro hole in the middle following Stoikurt's "Poncho Quilt" instructions.

No more cold nights in the woods for this big baby!

I am just finishing up on almost that exact same quilt. I only need to hem the ends and add free magic. Only difference is it is purple inside and out and I am uglier.

Actually the purple quilt is also for my wife, however it is so nice and warm I will be bringing it to Mt Rogers if I can make it.

That "rifle" is a might fine squirrel problem solver, but so far that hasn't been a backpacking problem as much as a home attic problem, and the smoke keeps the women away...

    Thanks for the comments.

By the way TW, looks like a real nice job on that quilt and the matching sleeves look great.
