Thread weight and type for sewing M50/1.1 oz

What type of thread and weight of thread do you use for M-50, 1.0oz nylon? I am used to sewing heavy weight boat covers and interiors. Need some advice!

I've never used M-50, but since no one else has jumped in yet I'll give it a go. I have used a fair amount of 1.0-1.1 oz ripstop nylon.

Any good quality 100% polyester thread should do a good job. Gutermann's "Sew All" is typically available at Joann's. My preference is Gutemann's Mara 70. It has a higher breaking strength than the Sew All and is probably overkill for most of our uses.

    I use a #11 sharp point needle.

Another Guterman's "Sew All" user here. I use it for everything from M50 to tree straps.
