As Brady mentioned in my recent Trip report, I should put forth Cat Lake, just North of Squamish as a possible group hang location ....

Here is a LINK to a google map with the location

Here is a map of the camping area:

And of one site I noticed that looked perfect for hanging:

    Thoughts?

I'll admit that I'd be tempted to make the drive, I would need to make sure my Passport is up to date....

Let's talk dates and locations. Get something set so we can get together.

I work most weekends until 0800 on Saturday, or Sunday, so I'm limited there, but have every Monday and most of Tuesday off.

I do have July 13 - 21 off for vacation.

Do any of those dates work for people?

    Cheers!

Is this topic still alive? I am trying to complete a personal goal of camping at least 1 night, 12 months in a row, so far each year has had some obstacle and I haven't yet completed it. So far I have October and November 2014 taken care of, trying to find a way to get out before the end of the month, thinking Golden Ears Provincial park which has a good sized section open or Rolley Lake Provincial park which is technically closed but it can be walked/hiked in to.

Kinda, the interest seems to have tapered off though.

Golden Ears park tomorrow night then Birch Bay next weekend. Just saying, I'll be there.

Wish I were closer. I've been to Vancouver one time a few years ago and love your area up there and hope to visit again sometime soon,,

If this plan ever comes together I may be interested.
Squamish works for me. Tons of potential and accessible to all.
I'll warn you now though that my site will smell like weed, not beer.
