Question Will figure 9's work with 1.75 Zing-it?

The Nite Ize website says the small figure 9's work for 2mm line, but I'm asking if anyone has tried the with 1.75 zing-it. I want to use them on my tarp tie outs, but want to use the smallest zing-it if possible. I don't want to buy both size lines just to see if the smaller will work.

I use 9's with 1.75, when securing though in the cam portion, I double wrap and back up with a slippery half hitch. Have been using them for years, been well tested, no problems.

    +1

That's exactly how I have my tarp strung up as well. Never had even a slight slip.

I think 9s r great for tarp work. To soft for the hammock suspension. I bent the slap out of one.
