My meeting is 8 am Sunday morning. (We work around the clock, this is our slowest time.) I should be free for a dayhike Sat or Sun afternoon....

Cary SF has a 12mile loop, and some smaller ones - ever been to pumpkin hill? It's got a 5 mile loop; Spanish Pond has 'a' hill.
Yes folks, 'a' (single, solitary) hill, which is useful when you live in as flat a place as we do, 'a' hill is useful for 'training'...

I went to Pumpkin Hill 2 weeks ago, won't go again. Poorly blazed double-track, lots of sugar sand. Theodore Roosevelt area near there is some pretty good hiking, though, when combined with the intersecting Fort Caroline area. Cary sounds good.....haven't been there yet myself. I spend a lot of time in Jennings SF, lots of trails there.

Yeah, good to know. Still may do a day hike just to see the area. Cary is a nice spot.
