    First hammock purchase

    Well I finally did it.
I've been reading for months about hammocks of all brands and types.

I've never even tried one, so I was looking for something to give a good without breaking the bank.

I found the grand trunk camouflage hammock and I just had to have it!

My gear is hybrid surplus that I made up and have been rucking with. This will blend right in, I can't wait

Well I got my grandtrunk from ups today.

To compared the only other hammock I have felt, an eno pronest, I can definitely feel why this was 20 and the pronest is more.

But, it's camo, which makes me excited. So now I'm off to the local hiking/camping/awesome stuff store to try and see if they have decending rings, and a selection of Paracord. I really like the two decending ring suspension system. And I wanna give it a whirl.

And here we are. I kept the S hooks for now. And I'm using some 1200lb straps with the Marlin spike hitch. It's so much nicer than my buddy's slap straps, almost no sagging.
