If it was a 1.1 single layer (or a spindrift like I ordered) you should have received an email on 12/5/12 explaining that they ran short on those items and had to order more fabric. If all goes well with the fabric shipment, they were hoping to ship those orders late this coming week.

I am so very interested in the Blackbird and edge tarp.....

Just can't swing it now , had to buy a pair of boots. I'm saving up for the BB and as soon as I can afford them, I'm getting one.

What have you hammock folks done to me!

I already have a blackbird, ridgerunner, lynx, superfly and assorted other items from Brandon.

But alas, resistance is futile. Just pulled the trigger today on a poncho/undercover for the RidgeRunner (I love multi-purpose items!) and a mamajamba tarp.

My new SuperFly arrived yesterday, had to wait till tonight to get it from the office. It's Great, can't wait to get it rigged and out in the field next weekend. Thanks Again Brandon for fine products.

Keep meaning to call for info. Found the website full of info which has me a bit confused as to which hammock setup would be best for bike packing trips. We normally ride around treeline and weather can move in quick so ease / speed of setup is important.

Hoping to try a full season using a hammock setup off the bike. Already have the fly fishing setup integrated for the bike

Honestly, most any setup that would be good for backpacking would be good for bike packing, including the choices on Warbonnet's site. They have relatively light weight, packable gear. A BlackBird is smaller and lighter than a RidgeRunner, but not by a whole lot, especially if you have a place to put the poles.

If you're around treeline but know you'll always be able to find trees, then go with a standard setup. If you might have to occassionally go to ground, just bring a pad instead of underquilt and a piece of tyvek or similar to put on the ground. You can then use your hammock as a bug bivy for the night.

BTW, hi from another Fly Fisherman!
