    September Wild Camp

Finally managed to get out for a bit of a yomp and decided on doing half of the Tennyson Trail from Carisbrooke Castle to Brighstone Forest. As it happen we didn't touch the trail and instead of a 4 mile jaunt we ended up doing 10 miles of very steep up and down slogging.

The views were stunning and the weather really helped. At camp we set up and cracked a beer or 2 (we missed pubs en route) and on went some juicy lamb chops over the fire.

The bloke with me is the sort that cannot be told which is why he resembles some sort of hammock hobo with his set up but he enjoyed it all the same.

Beautiful trip! Those chops must have been fantastic. Corn also? Looked like some potato fields soon after that possibly? Good company, good food, good scenery, hard to top.

Use of mate was spot on, you could also use mucker, fella, my old China, my old cock sparrow and a shed load more.
