WTB used suspension for a ENO like hammock

    Hey HF,

I got one of those WOOT hammocks for 19 bucks just to check it out. I have a WBBB I use to really camp with. The WOOT hammock looks pretty nice a lot like a ENO double. Now I'm looking for some type of used suspension on the cheap.

Let me know if you have something taking up space. Or even if you have any suggestions that make sense to buy new.

    Thanks!!

ENO hammocks are channel-end design, so you can use pretty much any kind of suspension. It doesn't have to be unique to ENOs. Whoopie Slings, Cinch Buckles, or double rings on a larkshead all work fine. Just look at some of the stickys on this site that deal with suspension rigging. A few feet of Amsteel, 4 descending rings, and some tree straps (use the webbing from old ratchet straps if you want to go cheap) is all you really need.

arrowheads setup is pretty hard to beat:http://www.arrowhead-equipment.com/h...uspension.html

you can also DIY some webbing suspension with this webbing:

and 1 inch cinch buckles from here:

I threw on some amsteel loops I made
    then threw on some Whoopies.

got the straps from the Pay It Forward Thread (but you need 50 posts.)
    or from strap works.com

    Easy.

For a cheap but a great suspension.
Use continuos loops in the ends and get a long set of tree straps. Use the marlin spike hitch method and just put the continous loops over your marlin spike. It works great and if the trees are far apart you can slap on a set of whoopies buy using a set of carabiners.

Thanks for the video, that cleared up my questions on how to replace the stock suspension on my trek light double with whoopie slings.
