    Ordered My 1st Underquilt

Just placed an order from LeighLo for my first underquilt. I ordered the 30-degree 48" model in black and coyote brown. I had a Gatorade bottle of change in the basement that I've had sitting around for years. I cashed it in at the credit union and had more than enough for the purchase. So this was like getting an underquilt for free--or at least with found money!

I'll have to try it out, maybe with a car camping trip first as I'll be camping in the Colorado mountains and it may be colder than I can handle until spring. Regardless I'll be taking it on my weekend day hikes and setting it up for my lunch break so I learn the tricks of setting it up correctly.

Congrats! Looking forward to a report...I've been eyeing her quilts for some time yet! Thinking of her 66" 15* UQ so I can get out in colder weather!

I will never look at a bottle of Gatorade the same ever again

A full quart Gatorade bottle seems to hold about $150 of assorted change. Back when I carried cash I would just throw all the loose change in one. I don't use cash much now though. I had it sitting on a shelf in the basement because I didn't want to roll all the coins, but now about every place has a coin counter that you can just dump them into and not have to worry about counting and rolling. Worked out well for me!
