I had never heard of anything like this before, but I guess that it makes sense that cuben is 100% waterproof over your head and the sil is at the sides... we shall see... I am giving it a go.
The ridgeline on that thing is mighty short. I don't think it would do well from that standpoint alone.
A 114" ridgeline only gives you 7" of coverage on a hammock with a 100" ridgeline like a Warbonnet traveler or BB.
Looks too flat cut for me... I think its going to flap like a bird... But hey its your money, let us know how it goes... Hope I'm wrong and it goes really well...
Live, Laugh, Love, if that doesn't work. Load, Aim and Fire, repeat as necessary...

Maybe if they made it a diamond tarp with the cuben running down the ridgeline... But that takes away their "door" idea... Which would seriously limit the inside space...

Its too short..If you ever decide to get a 11' hammock,,figure it out...to short. need more coverage as far as the length.

All these are good points. This would be for my wife who is 5'1 and less than 100. She is using a GT Skeeter beeter at the moment, which is like 9'5. I think that it would work for that maybe? She is using a 9x9 35ish ounce Noah's tarp diagonal right now. I am not sure how long it will be before she upgrades hammocks, because she does not go with me a lot (yet). Do you think it will be good for that type hammock for small women or maybe wood nymphs or elves?
Hmmm. I am still definitely open for comment/suggestions.
