    Started pouring and the seam of my tarp started leaking...sleeping bag is soaked and its time to go to sleep inside

    Your first test was a success, IMO. Glad you found that weakness in your tarp before you actually hit the woods. Improvise, adapt and overcome as they say.

    Also, I'm amazed at your suspension rig. The stick rig. Clever.
