Hey guys, I just made an end channel claytor type table cloth hammock. I like it--feel s great!---but after hanging in it for a while, I noticed the fabric seems really stressed/thread holes elongated where the channel is sewn to the hammock body. Has anyone else ever noticed this---and is an indication of impending failure?
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

Never noticed that on any of my hammocks, even the ones that stretched out with use. Does sound like impending failure, but I'm not an expert. Guessing you need to use heavier fabric next time.
