The time has come for me to liquidate some of my hammock gear. Believe me, this has not been an easy or desired choice -- I want/need to eliminate my consumer debt (and appease my wife), and frankly, I have way too many hammocks. Some of these are duplicates or pre-production models, and while I'd love to keep them, I had to make the cut somewhere. Other gear, specifically the tarps, are especially hard to part with, but I'm making good on my promise.
I will try to refrain from adding any sentimental drivel as I describe the gear, but I can't promise complete detachment.
Standard shipping: Flat $5 to any order. In other words, if you want to buy a few items here, I'll only add $5 to the whole order. Nice!
Payments through PayPal.
BONUS: The first 5 6 orders will also get a FREE DIY double-sided stuff sack.
So, without much ado, here are the items on the block:
Handy Hammock Hammock -- $20 $10 - SOLD
No, not the stand (I'm keeping that! For now.), just the hammock. This hammock has only been laid in a few times. Pristine condition. It's made from parachute polyester, very similar to the Grand Trunk Ultralight, but a little wider and longer, and more comfortable. 10.5 oz (298 g).
KAMMOK ROO, Red -- $80 $70 - SOLD
This is a pre-production model, like-new condition.
Hammock Bliss Sky Tent 2 -- $110 $100 $90
Review model, like-new condition. This is the new model with openings for two hammocks. You can see my review on my blog. A nice, roomy bug palace. MSRP $129.95!
Grand Trunk Goods All Terrain Hybrid Hammock -- $50 $40
Very good condition, used as a test product. Very versatile and LARGE hammock (easily compares to the KAMMOK ROO). MSRP $79.99
ENO Pronest Hammock -- $40 $30 - SOLD 12/17
Pristine condition. This is a small hammock but serviceable. MSRP $64.95
ENO DoubleNest -- $60 $50 $45
Pristine condition. New hammock, still has tags. MSRP $64.95
DIY Camo Hammock w/Zippered Bug Net -- $70 - SOLD 12/14
This is one of my favorites. 1.9 oz ripstop single layer, no-seem-um netting, full-length zipper. This is sort of a Grand Trunk Skeeter Beeter Ultralight clone, but larger and lighter. 12.8 oz (363 g). Comes in a custom, double-sided stuff sack.
2009 GoLite Poncho Tarp -- $30 - SOLD 12/14
Like new. I have a few of these (hey, I like them!). Blue poncho. Comes with a cuben fiber Hammock Gear stuff sack (reluctantly). Maybe I'll keep the stuff sack. Convince me you need both.
Ticket to the Moon Double Hammock -- $50 $40 $30
New. I think I took the tags off (sorry!). Cool stuff sack. MSRP $50
Ticket to the Moon Tarp -- $60 $50 - SOLD
Like new. I added some tie-outs. I am loath to part with this tarp. It's got great coverage and it's brand new! Only used once.
Trek Light Single Hammock -- $45 $35 $30
Like new. Only used indoors. Another nice hammock.
Trek Light Double Hammock -- $60 $50
Like new. Only used indoors. Pretty much brand new. Still has tags. I did detach the stuff sack from the hammock, but both are perfectly sound and serviceable. MSRP $74.95
DIY Tablecloth Hammock -- $40 $30 - SOLD
New. I am LOATHE to get rid of this one, and I nearly had my wife on my side -- she rarely comments on hammocks but this one is COMFY. Black, 60x126, with sewn end channels. Custom double-sided stuff sack. Man, I like that stuff sack too -- very smartly sewn, if I do say so myself. Used just a few times.
Planet Hammock Double -- $50 $40 $30
This is a large hammock. Comparible to the KAMMOK ROO. Like new. Only used indoors. Parachute nylon.
OES MacCat Deluxe Tarp w/Side Tie-outs -- $110 $100 - SOLD
BRAND SPANKIN' NEW. Don't get me started with this one. I worked hard to get this tarp and I've NEVER used it. Go figure. Yet I LOVE this tarp. But I have another OES MacCat tarp and I... just hurry and buy it before I change my mind. This is a very nice tarp. Very nice. *sniff* /wipes nose with sleeve
Grand Trunk Goods Nano 7 -- $70 $60 $55
BRAND SPANKIN' NEW. Comes with packaging and cool carabiners! I was hoping Household 6 wouldn't notice, but I already have duplicates of this cool hammock. MSRP $79.99!
Last, but not least, the Mayan Woven Hammock "Super Jumbo King" -- $80 $70
Authentic Mayan hammock from South America. Comes with a Ticket to the Moon parachute nylon backpack (a $20 value) free! This is arguably the most comfortable hammock I own, and my wife's favorite. If I could take this guy hammock camping I would, but it's 4 lbs (2 kg) alone. It's a great indoor/backyard hammock. The weave on this hammock has incredible flex, providing the truest "flat" lay I've ever had and the best "foot box" you've ever experienced. To be honest, I'm only getting rid of this because it is GINORMOUS and can fit my entire family. I'm going to buy another, smaller one (don't tell my wife), now that I've tried the big kahuna.
