tarp specifically designed for a bridge hammock?

Hey guys, is there one specific design of tarp that works best with a bridge hammock?
FYI: If you want to know what type a certain bear is, sneak up behind it and kick it. Then,
run like crazy and climb up a tree. If the bear climbs the tree and eats you, it's a black
bear. If the bear just pushes the tree over and eats you, it's a grizzly bear : )

Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me, either, just leave me alone.

I don't have a specific answer... But if I was a bridge hammocker I would be looking at something big wide and with exterior poll mod... Some like the hard rock winter tarp from arrowhead...

Warbonnet's cloudburst tarp is the only one I know of that was made to cover a bridge hammock.

RightOn Brute1100. Wide and Polemod can make any tarp better for a bridge.

    tarp for bridge

I don't think there is one ideal set up, but most bridge users seem to gravitate toward "bigger is better" since extending over the spreader bars present a challenge.

I have a BMJ from Warbonnet. Works great without the side pulls and even better with the side pull outs being used. I know other bridge users have had success with this tarp, too.

I'm going to experiment with a diamond set up this winter/spring to see how that goes but I don't have any input on that design for a bridge yet.

I see the Cloudburst is q 132X120 rectangle, as is the JRB. But there are no pull outs on the JRB, I have used Grip Clips for the same effect. The JRB also has very small cat cuts, which I don't think actually decrease coverage to any noticeable degree, but do seem to keep it very stable in the wind.

In my humble opinion if you have the spindrift you can actually go with A smaller tarp. With the spindrift I use the Zpacks cuben fiber 11'x8.5' . And I think you could even go smaller. All you have to do is block direct rain. Although I do use the warbonnet Mamajamba door kit on one end only for added protection.
